Eighties band ZZ Top may not have been the greatest looking blokes in the world but they hit the nail on the head with ``every girl's crazy about a sharp dressed man".
Pam Price at Man About Town in Wollongong knows all about it.
She has dressed hundreds of grooms and their groomsmen and while the casual wedding is the flavour of the month, formal suits have never lost their popularity.
The only thing that really changes is the colour of the tie, cummerbund and handkerchief, the pattern of the vest or the length of the coat.
This season's grooms are looking very tailored in three-quarter length coats with a high neck, teemed with gold or silver accessories - depending on the colour of the bridesmaids' dresses.
The ties are long, tucked under the vest, which tends to be less patterned than in previous years.
All black is in - with black shirt, vest and coat looking very sleek - the only colour stemming from the tie and handkerchief.
Man About Town also hires gowns to brides.
The gowns, which tend to be two-piece (bodice and skirt) are designed and created on the premises. To make wedding preparation easier, jewellery, tiaras and hair pieces as well as page boy and flower girl outfits also are available.
Hired outfits can be picked up Thursday afternoon and dropped back on Monday.
